Beste leden,
Het basketbal-seizoen is inmiddels in volle gang en we startten het eerste weekend opvallend goed: met klinkende overwinningen van vrijwel alle KTC teams!
Goed nieuws ook over onze locatie. De aanhoudende inzet om onze vertrouwde Tetterodehal als vaste locatie voor KTC te behouden, heeft vruchten afgeworpen! We willen alle betrokken leden van harte bedanken voor hun steun! Hieronder lees je wat het voor KTC betekent. Verder vind je informatie over digitaal tafelen en krijg je een update van de Grote Clubactie. Loten kopen kan nog de hele maand. Goed voor de sport en goed voor onze mooie club!

KTC BLIJFT IN EIGEN HAL
Het kan jullie niet ontgaan zijn: er was een uiterst onzekere situatie over het kunnen blijven trainen en spelen in de Tetterodehal. Na veel overleg met de verhuurder, de gemeente en mede-huurders lag er een voorstel voor een nieuw contract. Met de instemming van de ALV op 21 september over de contributieverhoging die het voorstel met zich meebracht, waren we eruit. Opgelucht, blij en trots kunnen wij melden dat een nieuwe huurovereenkomst met de Tetterodehal onlangs is getekend! Bovendien is de verhuurder ons tegemoet gekomen door de eerder voorgestelde huurverhoging te verlagen. Na dit seizoen zijn we dus verzekerd van nog eens 10 jaar KTC in onze mooie hal!

STEUN KTC EN WIN 
KTC doet weer mee aan de Grote Clubactie: de jaarlijkse loterij voor verenigingen om hun inkomsten te versterken. En reken maar dat dit welkom is! De lotenverkoop is eind september gestart door onze jeugdteams t/m U16. Het leukste is natuurlijk om je loten van deze helden te kopen, maar online kan het ook en steun je KTC net zo goed. Wist je dat van elk lot van 3 euro maar liefst 2,40 direct de clubkas in gaat?! Geld dat we goed kunnen gebruiken. Loten kopen is ook voor jezelf interessant, want er is 100.000 euro, een auto, een keuken en nog veel meer te winnen! De papieren loten kan je van onze jeugdleden t/m 5 december kopen. Online zijn loten zijn te koop tot 21 november. De trekking is op 6 december. Meteen wat (extra) loten scoren? Ga naar de officiële site en vergeet niet om KTC als club te selecteren. Dankjewel en veel geluk!

DE LEDENADMINISTRATIE
We stellen je met plezier voor aan Marit Blom, onze nieuwe ledenadministrateur. Onlangs nam zij deze functie over van Stephane Châtel. Marit speelt in Dames 1 en het leuke is dat zij daar dezelfde trainer/coach heeft als toen zij als tiener bij KTC basketbalde; Bea Lie-A-Tjam. Marit heeft twee zoons en de oudste van vijf kan niet wachten tot hij mee kan doen bij de minidunkers!

KTC heeft veel te danken aan Stephane Châtel. Niet alleen heeft hij de laatste anderhalf jaar de ledenadministratie voor zijn rekening genomen, door de jaren heen was Stephane al in vele functies een enthousiast en waardevol bestuurslid. Bedankt voor (wederom) je inzet voor KTC, Stephane!

ALLEMAAL AAN TAFEL!
En dan bedoelen wij de wedstrijdtafel. Het bijhouden van de tijd en de scores noem je daarom ’tafelen’. De tafelaars zijn onmisbaar voor een goede, sportieve en leuke wedstrijd. Je tafelt altijd samen; de een bedient de klok, de ander gebruikt de tablet en de gebruiksvriendelijke app. Voor wie dit nieuw is (zoals de ouders van de U12 en U14), of er meer van wil weten staat er een link op onze site naar een youtube instructie-filmpje. Hierin wordt uitgelegd wat er op het digitale wedstrijdformulier ingevuld moet worden en hoe. Een uitgeprinte handleiding ligt altijd op tafel en er zijn genoeg mensen in de hal aanwezig die kunnen helpen als je vragen hebt. Heb je de smaakt te pakken en wil je bij meer wedstrijden helpen? HERFSTVAKANTIE
De komende week hebben de scholen herfstvakantie en dat betekent geen training voor alle teams, inclusief de senioren van maandag 17 t/m donderdag 20 oktober. Pak je rust en kom sterker terug!

Dear members,
The basketball season is now in full swing and we started the first weekend remarkably well: with resounding victories from almost all KTC teams!
Good news also about our location. The continued commitment to keep our trusted Tetterodehal as a permanent location for KTC has paid off! We would like to thank all members involved for their support! Below you can read what it means for KTC. You will also find information about digital dining and you will receive an update of the Grote Clubactie. You can still buy lottery tickets all month long. Good for the sport and good for our beautiful club!

KTC STAYS IN OWN HALL
You can’t have missed it: there was an extremely uncertain situation about being able to continue training and playing in the Tetterodehal. After much consultation with the landlord, the municipality and fellow tenants, there was a proposal for a new contract. With the approval of the GMM on September 21 about the contribution increase that the proposal entailed, we were done. We are relieved, happy and proud to announce that a new lease agreement with the Tetterodehal has recently been signed! Moreover, the landlord has accommodated us by lowering the previously proposed rent increase. After this season we are assured of another 10 years of KTC in our beautiful hall! SUPPORT KTC AND WIN
KTC is again participating in the Grote Clubactie: the annual lottery for associations to strengthen their income. And you can bet that this is welcome! The ticket sale started at the end of September by our youth teams up to U16. The best thing is of course to buy your tickets from these heroes, but it is also possible online and you support KTC just as well. Did you know that no less than 2.40 of every ticket of 3 euros goes directly into the club greenhouse?! Money that we can put to good use. Buying lottery tickets is also interesting for yourself, because there is 100,000 euros, a car, a kitchen and much more to win! You can buy the paper tickets from our youth members until December 5. Online tickets are for sale until November 21. The draw is on December 6. Immediately score some (extra) tickets? Go to the official site and don’t forget to select KTC as the club. THE MEMBERS ADMINISTRATION
We are pleased to introduce you to Marit Blom, our new member administrator. She recently took over this position from Stephane Châtel. Marit plays in Ladies 1 and the nice thing is that she has the same trainer/coach there as when she played basketball at KTC as a teenager; Bea Lie-A-Tjam. Marit has two sons and the oldest of five can’t wait to join the mini-dunkers!

KTC owes a lot to Stephane Châtel. Not only has he been responsible for the membership administration for the past year and a half, over the years Stephane has been an enthusiastic and valuable board member in many positions. Thanks for (once again) your commitment to KTC, Stephane!

ALL AT THE TABLE!
And we mean the match table. Keeping track of time and scores is therefore called ’tafelen’. The Tafelaars are indispensable for a good, sporty and fun match. You always tafel together; one operates the clock, the other uses the tablet and the user-friendly app. For those who are new to this (such as the parents of the U12 and U14), or who want to know more about it, there is a link on our site to a youtube instruction video. This explains what must be entered on the digital competition form and how. A printed manual is always on the table and there are plenty of people in the hall who can help if you have any questions. Do you have a taste and want to help in more competitions? Welcome!

AUTUMN BREAK
The schools will have their fall break next week, which means no training for all teams, including the seniors from Monday 17 to Thursday 20 October. Take your rest and come back stronger!
